Product Care

For all lighting products simply wipe down with a damp cloth. Under no circumstances must self-adhesive tape price tickets be attached to an Illumina article. The chemical in the self-adhesive could damage the fitting.

 

Use a light detergent and wash with a normal cycle, not exceeding 30 degrees in water temperature. Leave to dry naturally. Not suitable for dry cleaning, tumble drying, rubbing or bleaching. Iron on reverse of design.

 

Stock

Although we try to have a stock level that will keep up with expected demand, certain item(s) that are highly popular can exceptionally run out of stock.

If you would like to be notified once an item is back in stock, please sign up on the relevant product page to be notified when the item is back in stock.

No, your items will not be placed on backorder if they are currently not available. We take great care to try and avoid advertising products that are no longer in stock, but cannot be held liable in case of an unforeseeable oversight, or if someone should purchase the last remaining item before you can do so.

 

We provide you with the opportunity to create your own wish list where you can select products for future purchase.

Pricing

Prices on our website are subject to change at any time. We do not offer a price match on items that have gone on sale after your purchase has been made.

 

Sale prices are only valid for a specific time period or while stocks lasts. This will depend on the specific product advertised. It is advised to buy the item as soon as you see it, as Sale price items sells out fast!

 

Unfortunately, we cannot honour a sale or promotional price if an offer has finished. If you wish to keep up to date with our current sales and promotions, please sign up to our newsletter here.

 

Yes, all our prices listed on the illumina.co.za website are Inclusive of VAT. All prices indicated in ZAR (South African Rand).

 

General

Illumina works closely with suppliers to ensure all products have appropriate warranties. Illumina (Pty) Ltd have a 1 year warranty from date of receipt of invoice. This warranty will cover you against faulty workmanship and/or material.

Please email customercare@illumina.co.za or call our Customer Care Team on 021 534 3636 to submit a warranty claim. You may be required to send us images of the damage to aid in our assessments. We will then finalise your warranty claim. Please do not attempt to return an item before speaking to one of our specialists (you may be responsible for any associated expenses).

In the case of a valid warranty claim, Illumina (Pty) Ltd will strive to repair the product. If that is not possible, the product will be replaced. Should Illumina (Pty) Ltd be unable to repair or replace the product, a credit/refund will be passed on to you for the value of the product on date of invoice.

Please note that the following will void any warranty claims:

  • Negligence – where the client or the installation electrician did not install the product as per standard installation procedures
  • Misuse – where the product was not used for its intended purpose or used outside of the scope of listed technical specifications
  • Visible damage – where the products are damaged after they have been received and Illumina (Pty) Ltd was not notified thereof within 10 working days of receipt of goods
  • Modifications  – where the product was amended, adjusted or tampered with in such a way that it is deemed as modified from the condition that it was originally supplied to you
  • We will not refund or replace a product that you have bought and received where, in our reasonable opinion, the product has: become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care.
